I missed the chance to visit Fatburger first outlet in Tanjong Katong. So when I knew that it opened its 2nd outlet in Velocity Novena, I made it a point go there since it is pretty near me.
Founded in 1952 in US Hollywood, Fatburger is known for serving large juicy custom made to order burger. However, being lazy, I did not customize it much and went for the single original burger with no cheese ($7.90) while GT chose the one with cheese. (Add $1)
You can choose from any of their free condiments which include lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, relish, onions and pickles.
Buffalo wings have 8 sauces to choose from too, ranging from plain to death valley (sounds really spicy!) We went for the lemon pepper one to avoid being spiced out.
Verdict:
- The mikshake is a MUST (forget about your diet)
- The burger is indeed nice and juicy, worth the calories
- The chilli fries are nice too, generous with the cheese and chilli.
- I am not too sure of the wings, definitely have better wings elsewhere.
- Would i be back? Yes, definitely, maybe skip the wings and try the onion rings.
Being a new place, the queue is still pretty long, though they are very efficient. Be prepared for a 20 mins queue and another 10 mins for them to serve you the burger.
