I am always happy and excited to have friends in town, especially those I have not met for years. Bo was in town for some conference, and it was really nice to catch up with her. The last time we met was in late Nov 2006, at a company bootcamp. It was also where I got to know her, as she was in the same project team as me. Two of us happened to be the laid back one in the team, and while two other team mates were arguing how to present the case, we were more interested to rest and discussed where to go in Bangkok, especially it was already past midnight! After the bootcamp, we keep in touch via emails and FB, and so it is really nice to see her again!
At first i planned to bring her to Dempsey for Samy's Curry. But she is one very interesting Thai who cannot take spicy food. So we changed our plan, and went to Margarita for Mexican food instead. I asked P along too, and he was at first quite confused by us, thinking that Bo is my colleague. It was a great night of good food, mango margarita and Ben & Jerry Ice Cream. Only then i realised that there is no B&J ice cream in Thailand! Maybe i should get a franchise there :-)
The only regret is that i do not have my camera with me... but who cares, it is the company that counts.
